Hot Air Balloon Festivals & More in Warren County, New Jersey!

Thanks to all that came out to support the 2024 Balloon Festivals in Warren County this past year. The 2025 dates for the hot air balloon festivals in Warren County have been set! Mark your calendars with the dates below.

Our balloon festival story...

​

The original Hot Air Balloon Festival in Warren County, New Jersey, was held as a small gathering of pilots at the Warren County Farmers' Fair, in 2001. It quickly became a welcomed addition to the County Fair. In 2020, when COVID prohibited the Fair from taking place, a smaller event was held at long time sponsor, Warren Community College. There were also drone demos, to highlight the expansive drone program the College had been building. The event was so successful, it started some new hot air balloon festival traditions in Warren County. In 2023  Area 57 - Flying Objects & Other Fun - was added, to focus more on technology and aviation.

In fall of 2022 the Flying Festivals of Warren County non-profit was formed to continue developing various events focused on aviation, community and the College! Proceeds benefit the following charities, as well as bringing recognition to the Uncrewed Systems program at Warren Community College, and economic support to the businesses in our part of Warren County, New Jersey.
